Zusammenfassung: | This article describes how Globalization of Neoliberalism in education through International Financial Institutions like OECD and World Bank is imperialist in nature. It examines how imperialism has affected education in the heart of the empire through the organized business sector, Edubusiness, privatization and militarization. This model of Neoliberal education has been exported and imposed on a global scale leading to a degradation of critical thinking and human values. The New Dark Ages are in the mirror of the markets. This article suggests that the hope of Critical Pedagogy is resistance to the dehumanization in progress. It concludes that Critical educators are fighting a war for the future of humanity. |
