Zusammenfassung:According to Shulman, educational research in the 1980s was ignoring a key component: what teachers knew. In doing so, researchers have documented the influence of content knowledge and pedagogical content knowledge on instructional practices (Hill et al., 2005) and student achievement (Baumert et al., 2010; Campbell et al., 2014; Hill et al., 2005), at times noting pedagogical content knowledge to be more strongly related to student achievement (Baumert et al., 2010).
