Zusammenfassung:This journal is an international review for researchers and teachers of modern Celtic languages. This volume contains seven articles. There are three research articles: "Issues in the Design of Irish Credited Courses" (Thomas W. Ihde); "Learning Irish for Participation in the Irish Language Speech Community outside the Gaeltacht" (Muiris O Laoire); and "Gaelic Language Maintenance Typologies and Constructs" (Kara A. Smith). There are two articles under the heading of Teaching Forum: "What Do You Do When the Teacher Needs a Teacher?" (Donall MacNamara); and "Taking the 'Aching' out of 'Teaching': Fun and Games in the Classroom" (Maray A. Watson). There are two review articles: "Johnstone, R.M., Thorpe, G., MacNeil M. and Stranding, R. (1999). The Progress and Attainments of Pupils Receiving Gaelic Medium Education" (Kara A.
