Also provided herein are pharmaceutical compositions, such as adhesive compositions, comprising tetrabenazine, a deuterated tetrabenazine, or a combination thereof, for example, homogenously dispersed in an adhesive, such as a pressure sensitive adhesive. Further provided herein are methods of using the transdermal delivery devices or pharmaceutical compositions, for example, for treating a hyperkinetic movement disorder.
