Le châssis sous vide intégré augmente la caractéristique d'isolation totale de la fenêtre en coupant la transmission de la chaleur à travers l'angle de la fenêtre. La fenêtre est mise sous vide au moyen d'une valve (13) pouvant sceller la fenêtre à température ambiante, le dégazage à partir du matériau fondu dans la partie définitivement scellée de la fenêtre étant réduit.
