Une pellicule en polyester contenant des cellules infimes est obtenue en moulant une feuille par extrusion avec une composition comprenant du polyester aromatique, entre 3 et 20 % en poids du polyester d'un polypropylène cristallin ayant un indice de fusion et de coulée compris entre 0,2 et 120, et entre 0,0001 et 3 % en poids du polyester et du polypropylène additionnés d'un agent tensio-actif. On étire ensuite la feuille dans au moins une direction. Comme cette pellicule en polyester contient d'innombrables cellules fermées infimes, elle a une gravité spécifique apparente réduite et a une grande puissance d'occultation lorsque l'on n'y ajoute une quantité minime d'oxyde de titane, ou même lorsque l'on y ajoute rien. On l'utilise donc de préférence comme matériau de base de différents produits de l'industrie informatique ou de fabrication de plaquettes. |
