The process involves isomerization and hydrosilylation starting with an internal olefinic compound and a silyl hydride compound. A catalyst composition including a Platinum hydrosilylation reaction catalyst and an Iridium (I) - ligand complex is capable of catalyzing the isomerization and hydrosilylation reactions. L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'un composé d'organosilicium. Le procédé comprend l'isomérisation et l'hydrosilylation à partir d'un composé oléfinique interne et d'un composé hydrure de silyle. Une composition de catalyseur comprenant un catalyseur de réaction d'hydrosilylation de platine et un complexe iridium (I)-ligand est capable de catalyser les réactions d'isomérisation et d'hydrosilylation.
