Zusammenfassung:	A device and method for deicing a bare wire of an overhead power distribution line in a mountainous area. The deicing device comprises: an unmanned aerial vehicle (1), a line landing mechanism, an automatic deicing mechanism (12), and a magnetic attraction mechanism. In the deicing method, an unmanned aerial vehicle carries an automatic deicing mechanism to a line to be deiced, such that the automatic deicing mechanism is automatically sleeved on said line to be deiced; the unmanned aerial vehicle can be suspended from the line by means of the line landing mechanism, and the deicing process is filmed by means of a binocular camera of the unmanned aerial vehicle; and an operator can observe on the ground the deicing process by means of a display screen of a remote control terminal.
