La présente invention concerne un procédé de traitement d'un fil ou d'un textile comprenant : - des fibres synthétiques choisies parmi: les fibres de polyamide, les fibres de polyester et les combinaisons de celles-ci; - des fibres élastomères; ledit procédé comprenant les étapes suivantes consistant à : i placer le fil ou le textile en contact avec un solvant comprenant du caprolactame pour obtenir un système à deux phases comprenant : (a) une phase liquide comprenant un polymère élastomère dissous dans ledit solvant, (b) une phase solide comprenant lesdites fibres synthétiques; ii. séparer la phase solide (b) de la phase liquide (a) pour récupérer lesdites fibres synthétiques; iii. faire coaguler le polymère élastomère dans la phase liquide (a); iv. séparer à partir de la phase liquide (a) le polymère élastomère coagulé. La présente invention concerne également un procédé de récupération de caprolactame à partir d'un fil ou d'un textile comprenant des fibres de polyamide en combinaison avec des fibres élastomères.
