Zusammenfassung:	A railway tank car tank body having a protective apparatus and a railway tank car, which are used to solve the problem of insufficient safety protection of tank bodies due to railway tank car tank bodies being easily damaged during transportation processes. The railway tank car tank body specifically comprises two protective cap units, a top protective unit, and a bottom protective unit. Each of the protective cap units comprises a sealing cover, one end of the sealing cover covering and being mounted on an outer wall of one end of the tank body, and the other end of the sealing cover being a curved surface. There is a gap between each of the sealing covers and the tank body. A first notch is provided on each of the sealing covers. The top protective unit comprises a manhole neck, a large manhole cover, and a first protective cover, which are sequentially arranged from bottom to top.
