METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR DIAGNOSING PET HEALTH USING SAMPLE IMAGING

The present invention provides a method for diagnosing a health status of a pet in a simple and accurate manner without the cumbersome procedure of dabbing urine on a reagent pad, the method comprising: capturing a sample image from an examination image taken while positioning, around a sample contacted with urine, a reference sheet that displays a reference color area and a tag formed in a certain pattern on one surface thereof; and analyzing the color of the sample image. Furthermore, the present invention provides a system for diagnosing a health status of a pet, wherein the system is structured by printing a certain pattern of a tag having a reference color area on a defecation pad in which a reagent layer changing in color depending on urine components is formed on an absorption sheet for absorbing pet urine, and is designed to acquire a sample image from an examination image capturing both the urine-stained reagent layer and the tag and to analyze the color of the sample image to diagnose the health status of the pet.
