INTELLIGENT STEEL PIPE GROOVING APPARATUS AND GROOVING METHOD

The present disclosure provides an intelligent steel pipe grooving apparatus and a grooving method. The steel pipe grooving apparatus comprises a grooving machine, an adjustable steel pipe supporting platform, a common machine base frame, and an intelligent control system. The common machine base frame is a shared machine base frame of the grooving machine and the adjustable steel pipe supporting platform. The intelligent control system performs intelligent control on the grooving machine and the adjustable steel pipe supporting platform according to the machining operation requirements of a steel pipe port. A flattening machine is further provided on the common machine base frame. A shape correcting assembly for performing shape correction on the port is further provided on a frame of the grooving machine. According to the present disclosure, the steel pipe grooving machine, the flattening machine and the adjustable steel pipe supporting platform which are discrete are integrated into a precision machine too
