The electrodes beings specifically adapted for use in electrotherapy for anxiety using sinusoidal alternating current with a frequency between 1 and 10 Hz, and being positioned so as to target the amygdala and/or having a first electrode positioned on the prefrontal cortex, a second electrode positioned on the parietal cortex and a third electrode positioned on the temporal cortex.
