É descrito um equipamento para se deslocar pelo interior de dutos (Pig) que embarca uma instrumentação, que basicamente compreende: um módulo de eletrónica (3), um módulo de bateria (4), sensores (6) magnéticos MMM e um sistema odométrico (7,8) a qual é destinada a detectar e mensurar anomalias estruturais e zonas de concentração de tensão em dutos de material metálico, sejam rígidos, sejam flexíveis, em terra e em profundezas do mar (" offshore ") por intermédio de ensaio não destrutivo de Memória Magnética de Metal (MMM).
