A LIGHT-BASED TREATMENT DEVICE FOR HEAD AND/OR SCALP

:According to an aspect of the invention, a scalp care device is provided, which includes a casing, a mounting pad, an array of bristles and a plurality of light emitting elements. The mounting pad includes an inner surface and an outer surface, the inner surface facing the scalp when in use and the outer surface facing the casing. The array of bristles is arranged to section hair into parts, and each bristle comprises a base, a body and a distal portion, wherein the base is coupled to the inner surface of the mounting pad. The light emitting elements are operable in a suitable wavelength range for scalp treatment and distributed either on the inner surface of the mounting pad while surrounded by the bristles, or on the outer surface of the mounting pad. A controller is configured to control the light emitting elements to irradiate the sectioned parts. Selon un aspect de l'invention, un dispositif de soins du cuir chevelu inclut un boîtier, un support de montage, un réseau de brins et une pluralité d'éléments électroluminescents. Le support de montage inclut une surface interne et une surface externe, la surface interne faisant face au cuir chevelu lors de l'utilisation et la surface externe faisant face au boîtier. Les éléments électroluminescents peuvent fonctionner dans une plage de longueurs d'onde appropriée pour le traitement du cuir chevelu et sont répartis soit sur la surface interne du support de montage tout en étant entourés par les brins, soit sur la surface externe du support de montage. Un dispositif de commande est configuré pour commander aux éléments électroluminescents d'irradier les parties divisées.
