Plus particulièrement, la présente invention concerne un procédé utilisant une réaction couplée réductase-déshydrogénase pour transformer des lactones insaturées en delta-lactones saturées. Le procédé implique la réduction desdites lactones insaturées, étant facilitée par la présence d'un cofacteur et d'un cosubstrat, qui participent à ladite réaction couplée. Le procédé de la présente invention augmente non seulement la conversion de la lactone insaturée en lactone saturée mais augmente également la production de ladite lactone saturée. |
