FOLDING SPOON, METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR MANUFACTURING SUCH FOLDING SPOON

A folding spoon and a method and an apparatus for manufacturing such folding spoon are described. The spoon (1) comprises a handle portion (3) connected to a bowl portion (4). A longitudinal axis (10) dividing a planar blank (2) into two general symmetrical halves (11, 12), and a plurality of scores disposed on said planar blank including a longitudinal handle score (9) extending from a front lateral edge (6) along said longitudinal axis towards a rear lateral edge (7) opposite said front lateral edge and terminating in the bowl portion. A first lateral score (13) is arranged in said handle portion in a position closer to said rear lateral edge than to the front lateral edge and extending transversal to said longitudinal axis. A second lateral score (14) is arranged in a distance (15) from said first lateral score corresponding to the distance (16) between said first lateral score and said rear lateral edge and extending transversal to said longitudinal axis.
