A material drawing period in a year is April; a culture medium for starting culture is as follows: leaf, MS + 2,4-D 2.0 mg/L + 6-BA 1.0 mg/L + saccharose 25 g/L, and stem, MS + 2,4-D 1.0 mg/L + 6-BA 1.5 mg/L + saccharose 30 g/L; a sugar source having the effect of promoting the growth of callus is MS + 6-BA 3.0 mg/L + NAA 0.5 mg/L + saccharose 20 g/L; and a culture medium for rooting is 1/2 MS + NAA 1.5 mg/L + saccharose 30 g/L. A method for culturing fagus longipetiolata plants by using the culture medium and fagus longipetiolata plants cultured using the culture medium.
