description The present invention relates to a buried electrical cable error-preventing excavation alert device, comprising an optical fiber vibration sensor having a pattern recognition function, a signal processing unit, a wireless communication unit and a power supply unit. The signal processing unit is respectively connected to the optical fiber vibration sensor, the wireless communication unit and the power supply unit. The optical fiber vibration sensor is installed within a preset range of the electrical cable and is for detecting vibration signals around the electrical cable in real time. When an action occurs that may damage the electrical cable, a warning is immediately given, reducing the likelihood that a power transmission or transformation accident will occur. Compared with the prior art, the present invention has advantages such as a low rate of false warnings, a fast reaction speed, and accurate regional positioning.
