description A spherical cadmium sulfide crystal and a method for preparing same. The method is simple in operation and low in costs, and is easy to control since the reaction is performed in a closed high-pressure reaction kettle. The prepared cadmium sulfide crystal is a pure hexagonal wurtzite with high degree of crystallinity. In addition, compared with cadmium sulfide crystals of other shapes, the spherical cadmium sulfide crystal has a larger specific surface area and a higher photocatalytic property.
