La présente invention concerne un procédé pour séparer les composants cationiques et anioniques de liquides ioniques désactivés. Le procédé consiste à faire réagir le liquide ionique désactivé avec la 8-hydroxyquinoléine pour précipiter le composant anionique, à séparer le précipité puis à extraire les composants de désactivation du composant cationique. Le précipité anionique et le composant cationique exempt de composant de désactivation sont ensuite récupérés et réutilisés pour différentes applications. Le liquide ionique peut être reconstitué à partir du composant cationique et d'un autre composant anionique pour une utilisation en tant que liquide ionique frais. |
