Selon un mode de réalisation, la présente invention concerne un conditionneur d'air qui comprend : une unité de communication permettant de recevoir d'un terminal se situant dans une zone, des premières informations relatives au terminal, y compris des informations relatives au temps de séjour précédent du terminal dans la zone ; et une unité de commande, qui détermine des deuxièmes informations relatives au terminal, y compris l'heure de départ prévue du terminal, sur la base des premières informations relatives au terminal, et détermine le mode de fonctionnement et la durée de fonctionnement du conditionneur d'air sur la base des deuxièmes informations relatives au terminal. L'invention permet par conséquent d'économiser l'énergie tout en réduisant à un minimum la baisse de sensation de confort ressentie par un occupant.
