description The invention relates to the field of pneumatic transportation, and specifically to the vacuum-pneumatic transporting of bulk materials with a high mass concentration. The essence of the invention consists in that material is fed from an atmospheric pressure zone into a vacuum zone, wherein the vacuum is produced by the alternate action of pulses from one of two or more vacuum receivers connected to a permanent vacuum source in such a manner that, during the action of a vacuum pulse from one of the receivers, said receiver is synchronously switched off from the permanent vacuum source, for the period of the pulsed action, and a following receiver is connected to the permanent vacuum source. The invention makes it possible to move bulk material with a high concentration along pipes which are of great length and which also have sections with a changing direction of movement (vertical or inclined sections).
