Le procédé issu de lipopolysaccharides (LPS) pour une préparation bactérienne est obtenu dans le mode négatif d'un spectromètre MALDI-TOF utilisant DHB comme matrice. La présente invention est utile dans l'analyse d'échantillons cliniques, le diagnostic d'infections provoquées par des bactéries à Gram négatif et peut être utile comme outil dans la thérapie dirigée contre l'antigène O à l'aide d'anticorps spécifiques.
