L'invention concerne la virologie et la microbiologie vétérinaires et notamment une souche de virus de la maladie de Newcastle et peut s'utiliser pour étudier les propriétés oncolytiques et les mécanismes d'oncolyse ainsi que pour le développement de nouveaux candidats de préparations anticancéreuses à base de virus capables de lyser les néoplasmes chez les mammifères. Le résultat technique de l'invention est l'obtention d'une nouvelle souche NDV/Anas crecca/Omsk/9/2010 de virus de la maladie de Newcastle capable de lyser sélectivement les cellules cancéreuses des mammifères sans provoquer de maladies infectieuses ou la mort des mammifères. La souche est déposée auprès de la Collection des cultures des micro-organismes du Centre national de virologie et de biotechnologie "Vektor" sous le n° d'enregistrement V-539.
