La présente invention concerne un appareil de refroidissement de soudure (1) qui permet le refroidissement forcé d'une zone de soudure chauffée sur une pièce (10) en cours de soudure. L'appareil de refroidissement (1) comprend au moins une buse (6) pour éjecter un liquide caloporteur extensible et un joint élastique (20). Le joint élastique (20) s'étend depuis l'appareil de refroidissement (1) et est disposé de telle sorte que, lors de son utilisation, le joint (20) assure l'étanchéité avec la surface de la pièce (10).
