METHODS OF ADMINISTERING AN EGFR INHIBITOR

Disclosed are methods of treating a patient having cancer with an EGFR inhibitor requiring an active step of avoiding or modifying the co-administration of such drugs with P-gp modulators. This invention also relates to a medicament for treating a patient having cancer, comprising an EGFR inhibitor as the active product ingredient, customized for avoiding co-administration with P-gp inducers and/or inhibitors by an instruction added to the medicament or the package containing said medicament. La présente invention concerne des méthodes de traitement d'un patient atteint d'un cancer avec un inhibiteur de l'EGFR. Lesdites méthodes nécessitent une étape active consistant à éviter ou à modifier la co-administration de ces médicaments avec des modulateurs de la P-gp. La présente invention porte, en outre, sur un médicament destiné à traiter un patient atteint d'un cancer, ledit médicament comprenant un inhibiteur de l'EGFR en tant que principe actif du produit, et se distinguant, afin d'éviter sa co-administration avec des inducteurs et/ou des inhibiteurs de la P-gp, par une note ajoutée au médicament ou à l'emballage contenant ledit médicament.
