Zusammenfassung: | The present invention discloses a formulation of PVC composition comprising of Ultra high Molecular Weight suspension grade Poly Vinyl Chloride and a non aromatic, non phthalate plasticizer, 1,2-cyclohexane dicarboxylic acid di isoO nonyl ester (DINCH). The invention also discloses a process of preparing PVC compound comprising of plasticizing the Ultra High Molecular Weight suspension grade PVC with DINCH. Flexible devices such as PVC tubes, PVC containers and blood bag system for the collection and storage of platelet rich plasma and platelet concentrates separated from one or more units of human blood are fabricated using the PVC compound and/or PVC composition.
