L'invention porte sur un système de guidage de feuilles de verre qui comprend un élément de guidage (22) ayant une petite surface de contact avec une feuille de verre (12) et étant sous tension pour pouvoir guider la feuille de verre. Pour assurer un guidage efficace, même dans des environnements soumis à de grandes variations de température, l'élément de guidage est maintenu en tension par un élément tendeur (24). L'élément de guidage est retenu par des supports (10) de manière à pouvoir être déplacé dans trois dimensions, tout en restant sous tension, ce qui lui permet de recevoir des feuilles de verre de différentes largeurs (1), hauteurs (2) et épaisseurs (3).
