description | The invention relates to molecular biology, biotechnology, genetic engineering and to medicine and provides a multipurpose method for simultaneously detecting different RNAs in tested samples, including diagnosis purposes during mass analysis of viral and viroidal infections of organisms. The inventive method involves separating a total RNA from a sample, marking the RNA with a diene-platinum mark, crossbreeding the marked RNA with a microchip in the form a substrate with DNA-probes which are immobilised thereon and are specific to the above-mentioned RNA sequences and subsequently detecting the thus formed specific heteroduplexes with the aid of DNA diene-platinum antibodies. A microchip for simultaneously detecting seven viral and viroidal potato infections which are contained in the tested sample and are more economically damaging for potato growing in Russia is also disclosed. The inventive technics for molecular detection of multiple infections makes it possible to substantially accelerate the diagnostic analysis of combined viral infections of different organisms in the case of visually ambiguously identified epiphytotics and epyzootics, during a quarantine and for certification of agricultural plants and animals.
