description | The objective is to ferment wood materials, sugarcane or other biomass efficiently, and while collecting alcohols from the fermented aqueous alcohol solution efficiently, reduce equipment costs and running costs and collect alcohol efficiently. The biomass alcohol manufacturing method comprises a saccharification process that saccharifies the biomass, a first concentration process wherein the biomass saccharification solution obtained in the saccharification process is sonicated and sprayed into a mist and the sprayed mist is collected, moisture is removed from the saccharification solution and it is concentrated, a fermentation process wherein the saccharification solution concentrated in the first concentration process is fermented, and a second concentration process wherein alcohol is separated from the aqueous alcohol solution obtained in the fermentation process.
