Cette méthode consiste à identifier la présence dans l'échantillon d'un point de mutation au niveau du codon Q509 d'une transcriptase inverse du VIH-1, par exemple et sans limitation, au niveau du codon Q509L. Ce point de mutation accroît à lui seul la résistance à l'AZT de 3 à 10 fois environ et que quelque 50 fois en combinaison avec la mutation du domaine de connexion A371V. |
