The methods and systems provide a high degree of specificity. Also, methods and systems are described which have high sensitivity for low concentrations of indirect thrombin inhibitors and which are characterized by large measuring ranges and high precision. L'invention porte sur des méthodes et systèmes simples et hautement spécifiques de détection et quantification d'inhibiteurs indirects de la thrombine tels que l'héparine, et qui se basent sur l'activation de la prothrombine par un ou plusieurs de ses activateurs. L'invention porte en outre sur des méthodes et systèmes présentant une grande sensibilité pour de faibles concentrations en inhibiteurs indirects de la thrombine, et se caractérisant par de larges plages de mesure et une haute précision.
