Zusammenfassung:	In accordance with the invention, there is a decision support method comprising collecting data about a set of components of an asset (100), wherein the data comprises information about the status of each component in the set of components. The method also comprises comparing the data to a set of requirements for a use of the asset (100) and estimating a remaining life for each of the components in the set of components based on the status of each of the components and the set of requirements for an intended use of the asset (100). La présente invention a trait à un procédé de support de décision comprenant la collecte de données concernant un ensemble de composants d'une ressource (100), les données comportant une information concernant le statut de chaque composant dans l'ensemble de composants. Le procédé comprend également la comparaison des données à un ensemble de besoins pour une utilisation de la ressource (100) et l'estimation de la durée de vie restante pour chacun des composants dans l'ensemble de composants en fonction du statut de chacun des composants et de l'ensemble pour une utilisation prévue de la ressource (100).
