Le système de suture (1) de l'invention comporte un applicateur de type aiguille (2, 22, 42) pourvue d'une pointe (26, 50) à son extrémité frontale, un matériau pour suture chirurgicale (4, 24, 44) comprenant des ardillons (6, 7, 28, 29, 47, 48), lesquels sont orientés d'une part dans un sens d'action à partir d'un point de référence (8, 30, 49) et d'autre part dans la direction opposée à l'action à partir du point de référence (8, 30, 49), ces ardillons étant conçus pour bloquer l'éloignement du tissu corporel (12) du point de référence (8, 30, 49).
