La présente invention a trait à un animal jouet destiné à être utilisé avec le transport d'enfants tel qu'un véhicule à moteur ou une poussette. L'animal jouet comporte un corps (2). Le corps (2) comprend une partie arrière (16) avec une fente (4) à proximité de l'arrière du corps. La fente (4) s'étend depuis une surface supérieure (4a) de la partie arrière du corps vers une surface inférieure (4b) de l'arrière du corps. La fente (4) est de taille suffisante pour permettre le passage d'une partie inférieure d'une sangle de fixation, telle qu'une ceinture de sécurité (6) ou un harnais de sécurité (11) à travers la fente (4) et le maintien du jouet (2) sur le siège (7) d'un dispositif de transport. Le verrouillage de la sangle de fixation immobilisent le jouet (2) et l'enfant sur le siège (7).
