Ledit élément d'enregistrement comprend un support et au moins une couche de réception d'encre, ladite couche de réception d'encre comprenant au moins un polymère de silice amorphe ayant un degré de condensation entre 75 % et 88 %. Un tel polymère peut s'obtenir par un itinéraire sol-gel dans des conditions catalytiques acides à partir d'alcoxydes de silicium.
