L'invention concerne un élément d'impression à jet d'encre présentant de très bonnes propriétés de conservation des colorants dans le temps. Cet élément d'impression à jet d'encre comprend un support et au moins une couche de réception d'encre qui contient au moins un liant hydrosoluble et au moins un polymère d'aluminosilicate pouvant être obtenu selon un procédé de préparation consistant à traiter un halogénure d'aluminium avec un mélange d'au moins un alcoxyde de silicium ne comportant que des substituants hydrolysables et d'au moins un alcoxyde de silicium comportant un substituant non hydrolysable, par un alcali aqueux en présence de groupes silanol, la concentration d'aluminium étant maintenue à une valeur inférieure à 0,3 mol/l, le rapport molaire Al/Si étant maintenu entre 1 et 3,6 et le rapport molaire alcali/Al étant maintenu entre 2,3 et 3; puis à agiter le mélange obtenu à température ambiante en présence de groupes silanol pendant une durée suffisante pour former le polymère d'aluminosilicate hybride.
