ANTI-CANCER AGENTS COMPRISING ALKB INHIBITORS AND ALKYLATING AGENTS

A pharmaceutical combination which comprises: (a) a compound of one of the formulae: formula (I) wherein each of R and R, which max be the same or different, represents hydrogen, fluorine or alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, X represents CR R, NR or O wherein R is hydrogen or alkyl of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, each of Y and Z, which may be the same or different, represents hydrogen, NR, OH or SH, or Y and Z together represents =O or =S, or formula (II) where R to R may independently be H, a branched or straight C1 to C6 alkyl chain, OH, O-alkyl having a branched or straight C1 to C6 alkyl chain optionally containing 1 or 2 N, O or S atoms, COOH, a branched or straight C1 to C6 alkyl ester (alkoxycarbonyl), a 4 to 7 membered heterocyclic ring optionally containing 1 or 2 N, S, O or P atoms or a 5 or 6 membered aromatic ring, optionally containing 1 or more N, O or S atoms, which can be fused to another ring, or a said alkyl chain substituted by a said aromatic ring, and formula (A) represents formula (B) or formula (C) or a pharmaceutically acceptable salt of a said compound; and (b) an anti-cancer alkylating agent. This combination is useful in the treatment of cancer. Combinaison pharmaceutique comprenant (a) un composé représenté par l'une des formules suivantes: formule (I) dans laquelle chacun de R et de R, qui peuvent être identiques ou différents, représente hydrogène, fluor ou alkyle à 1-6 atomes de carbone, X représente CR R, NR ou O avec R étant hydrogène ou alkyle à 1-6 atomes de carbone, chacun de Y et de Z, qui peuvent être identiques ou différents, représente hydrogène, NR, OH ou SH, ou bien Y et Z ensemble représentent =O ou =S; ou formule (II) dans laquelle R à R peuvent représenter indépendamment H, une chaîne alkyle en C1-C6 droite ou ramifiée, OH, O-alkyle comportant une chaîne alkyle en C1-C6 droite ou ramifiée, contenant éventuellement 1 ou 2 atomes N, O ou S, COOH, un alkyl ester en C1-C6 droit ou ramifié (alkoxycarbonyle), un motif hétérocyclique à 4-7 éléments contenant éventuellement 1 ou 2 atomes N, S, O ou P ou un motif aromatique à 5 ou 6 éléments contenant éventuellement 1 ou plusieurs atomes N, O ou S qui peut être fusionné avec un autre motif, ou une dite chaîne alkyle substitué par un dit motif aromatique, et la formule (A) représente la formule (B) ou la formule (C) ou bien un sel pharmaceutiquement acceptable d'un dit composé; et (b) un agent d'alkylation anti-cancéreux. Cette combinaison est utile pour le traitement du cancer.
