The receiving facility may compromise, for example, a security office. The receiving facility processes the images, monitoring, storing, forwarding and deleting the images as neccessary. Cette invention concerne un procédé et un système d'enregistrement d'une image vidéo numérique. Dans un mode de réalisation, le système comporte un dispositif de capture d'images vidéo connecté à un dispositif de communication sans fil. Le dispositif de communication sans fil transmet les images capturées par le dispositif de capture d'images en temps réel à une installation réceptrice via un réseau de communication. L'installation réceptrice, qui peut être équipée, par exemple, d'un bureau de la sécurité, traite, surveille, stocke, transmet et efface les images au gré des besoins.
