The invention relates to a diagnosis kit and a method for determining a person's tolerance to medicaments. Said diagnosis kit contains at least two pairs of oligonucleotides (reverse primer, forward primer). The two oligonucleotides of each pair are suitable as primers for amplification by means of a polymerase chain reaction of respectively one of the two additional strands of a sought DNA segment. Said sought DNA segment which is respectively associated with a pair of oligonucleotides is part of the gene of a human enzyme of phase I and/or phase II of the detoxification metabolism.
