Cette zone (21) comprend un arc de cercle principal (23) de rayon (rp1) dont le cercle support coupe le flanc (13) en un point (PRF1). La tangente en (PRF1) à ce cercle fait un angle strictement positif (D) avec le flanc (13). Les arcs de cercle secondaires (25, 27) de rayons (rS1, et rT1) inférieurs à (rP1) effectuent le raccordement tangentiel de l'arc de cercle principal d'un côté au flanc (13), de l'autre côté au fond de filet (19).
