L'invention concerne un procédé permettant d'améliorer sensiblement l'efficacité générale des dispersions de polymères réductibles dans l'eau, plus spécifiquement les dispersions d'alkyde, à l'aide de résines dérivées des produits de réaction d'acidolyse de téréphtalates de polyalkylène et de naphtalates de polyalkylène. Grâce à l'invention, on peut obtenir des dispersions de polymères à partir de polymères à faible teneur en acide mais qui cependant présentent une bonne dispersabilité dans l'eau. Lorsqu'une composition de revêtement aqueuse est formulée au moyen du procédé de dispersion de l'invention, un revêtement final est formé, possédant une bonne stabilité hydrolytique, et présentant plus de brillance et d'adhérence à l'humidité lorsqu'il est mélangé avec un latex. |
