La présente invention concerne une orthèse avec commande par microprocesseur qui, placée autour de l'articulation d'un patient, permet d'exécuter sous surveillance des exercices isométriques, isotoniques, et visant à améliorer l'amplitude des mouvements et la proprioception. L'emploi de diverses pièces améliorées a conduit à l'élaboration d'une orthèse plus simple à utiliser qui, grâce à une interaction plus efficace avec le module de commande, permet à moindre coût de surveiller un éventail plus large de mouvements et d'évaluer correctement les exercices. Des moyens efficaces de programmation, de surveillance et d'évaluation des exercices autorisent la mise en oeuvre d'un programme complet de rééducation fonctionnelle pour une articulation blessée ou affaiblie.
