Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for producing acrylic acid from formaldehyde and acetic acid, comprising the steps of (i) providing a gaseous substance stream S1 containing formaldehyde, acetic acid and acrylic acid, wherein the molar ratio of acrylic acid to the sum of formaldehyde and acetic acid in the substance stream of S1 is in the range from 0.005:1 to 0.3; (ii) contacting the substance stream S1 with an aldol condensation catalyst in a reaction zone to obtain a gaseous substance stream S2 containing acrylic acid.
