The present invention provides producer cells that produce pseudotyped recombinant retroviral vectors. The present invention further provides methods of purifying pseudotyped recombinant retroviral vectors; and purified pseudotyped recombinant retroviral vectors. The present invention further provides methods of delivering a gene product to an individual. The methods generally involve introducing a subject recombinant retroviral vector into an individual.
