The camera device is positioned adjacent the launching tube oriented in parallel therewith, an electronic data processing unit being connected with the camera device for determining the current position of the measuring projectile in accordance with the successive digitalized pictures, and a display arrangement which is operatively coupled with the electronic data processing unit for the display of the wind direction computed through the electronic data processing unit, and the velocity of the wind dependent upon the altitude of flight of the measuring projectile.
