description | Low bandwidth telecommunications channels are transformed into a high bandwidth telecommunications channel by determining the relative transmission delays among a plurality of relatively low bandwidth channels which are to be combined into a relatively high bandwidth communications channel. The transmission time delay across the plurality of low bandwidth channels is then equalized so that the time delay equalized low bandwidth channels combine to effectively form a single high bandwidth channel.
