Zusammenfassung:The apparatus includes a card retainer (17) on a predetermined portion of which an optical card is placed. The retainer is moved by a driving arrangement (12,14,15,16,17G, 22,24,25) with respect to a fixed portion into a reference position (or a position removed from the reference position by a selectively determined distance). This movement is controlled in accordance with a preset transfer mode, which is set on the card retainer, so that recording tracks are formed on the card when, in a predetermined mode. An optical beam is applied to it.
