This invention relates to a novel method for treating hypertension, which comprises administering a compound of the formula: wherein Z is C=C, O, S or NH; R is hydrogen, methyl, ethyl, hydroxy, methoxy, ethoxy, chlorine, bromine, fluorine, iodine or trifluoromethyl; and n is 1, 2, or 3.
